Overview

VibeFox Iugu Gateway adds Iugu payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for stores in Brazil. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, the extension creates an Iugu invoice and sends the customer to the Iugu invoice page, where the customer pays by credit card, boleto or PIX. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after the invoice is read back from the Iugu API, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores that sell in Brazilian Real and want card, boleto and PIX payments without a payment form on their own site. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no on-site card form, saved cards, subscriptions, payment booklets (carnê) or split payments.

Key features

Iugu invoice page: one invoice for the order total in BRL, due in 3 days, paid by credit card, boleto or PIX, with the methods enabled in your Iugu account.

Paid only when Iugu confirms: notifications carry no payment data the store trusts. The invoice is always read back from the Iugu API, and the amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Boleto and PIX: a customer who generated a boleto or PIX code gets an awaiting status. The order moves to the paid status when Iugu reports the money.

No double processing: repeated notifications and returns never apply a payment twice. One cart is paid only once: before a new invoice, the open invoices of the cart are reused or canceled in Iugu.

Test and live tokens: separate API tokens for each mode. Status checks and refunds always use the token of the mode in which the invoice was created.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial card refunds and full PIX refunds in the VibeFox Iugu Gateway tab of the order, counted only when Iugu confirms them. A full refund sets the Refunded status.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart statuses for paid, awaiting, review, expired, canceled and refunded invoices.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. CPF/CNPJ is taken from a custom field named CPF or CNPJ. Optional log without tokens or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The Brazilian Real (BRL) as a store currency. An Iugu account with a test and a live API token. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
