VibeFox iPay88 for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox iPay88 Payment adds iPay88 payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for iPay88 Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the iPay88 payment page of your region and pays there by card, FPX online banking, e-wallet or another method your iPay88 account offers. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after iPay88 reports the result with a signed response, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores in South-East Asia that have an iPay88 merchant account and want the customer to pay on the iPay88 page. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from OpenCart (refund in the iPay88 merchant portal), no saved cards, no subscriptions, no pre-authorisation and capture, no card fields on your site and no automatic status re-query.

Key features

Four iPay88 regions: choose Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia or Thailand. The order is charged in its own currency, and the payment method is hidden when that currency cannot be charged in your region. IDR is sent without decimals.

Paid only when iPay88 confirms: the order is marked paid only after a response signed with your Merchant Key whose amount and currency match the order. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Both iPay88 answers: the customer's return and the server-to-server backend notification are handled the same way. The backend notification is acknowledged only after it was processed, otherwise iPay88 sends it again.

SHA256 or SHA1 signatures: SHA256 by the current iPay88 specification, SHA1 as a legacy option. Responses are accepted in both formats.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous answers never apply a payment twice, and one cart is paid only once. A payment for a cancelled order or a second payment for a paid order adds a note and never re-opens the order.

Pending and failed payments: a pending payment (for example an ATM or virtual account transfer) gets its own awaiting status until iPay88 confirms it. After a failed payment the order stays without a status, and the customer sees the reason and can pay again with the same cart.

Test mode and reference prefix: a fixed small test amount instead of the order total, and an optional reference prefix for several stores on one iPay88 account.

Your own order statuses and order tab: choose the OpenCart statuses for paid, awaiting, review and failed payments; geo zone, minimum total and sort order. The order page has a tab with RefNo, TransId, amounts, PaymentId, AuthCode and error. Optional log without personal data or signatures.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. An iPay88 merchant account with a Merchant Code and Merchant Key, and your website address registered with iPay88 as the request URL. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
