VibeFox GoPay for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox GoPay Gateway adds GoPay payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the GoPay payment page, pays with one of the methods enabled on your GoPay account, such as payment cards, bank transfers or wallets, and comes back to your store. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after GoPay confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Central Europe that sell in CZK, EUR, PLN, USD, GBP, HUF, RON or BGN and have a GoPay merchant account. The customer chooses the payment method on the GoPay page, not in your store. The extension has no subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards, no embedded payment form and no capture or void of pre-authorizations from OpenCart.

Key features

Paid only when GoPay confirms: GoPay notifications are never trusted on their own. The extension always reads the payment state, amount and currency from the GoPay API with your OAuth credentials. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Amount and currency check: the payment must be one the extension created for the order, and the amount, currency and order number must match it. A mismatch puts the order in your on hold status with a note.

Nothing to set up at GoPay: the notification URL is sent with every payment. If the customer returns before the notification, the return itself checks the payment with the GoPay API.

No double processing: repeated notifications and returns never apply a payment twice. Before a new attempt, the open GoPay payments of the cart are checked; a payment through an older GoPay link is still recognised, and a second paid attempt gets a note to refund the duplicate.

Sandbox and production: separate GoID, Client ID and Client Secret for each mode. Each payment is checked and refunded in the mode it was made in.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox GoPay Gateway tab of the order, in the amount and currency GoPay charged, with GoPay's own message when a refund is refused. Full refunds made in the GoPay account set the Refunded status too.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on hold, a cancelled order and a full refund. Geo zone, minimum total and sort order as in any OpenCart payment method.

Payment page language: automatic language or one of 19 fixed languages. Optional log without credentials or personal data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A GoPay merchant account with GoID, Client ID and Client Secret (sandbox and/or production). Checkout currency CZK, EUR, PLN, USD, GBP, HUF, RON or BGN. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
