VibeFox GMO for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox GMO Payment Gateway adds credit card payments through GMO Payment Gateway (GMO-PG) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the GMO-PG hosted payment page (Link Type Plus), pays by card with 3-D Secure 2.0 handled by GMO-PG and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after GMO-PG confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits Japanese stores that sell in yen and have a GMO-PG merchant contract with Link Type Plus. The extension takes credit card payments in Japanese Yen only. It has no other GMO-PG payment methods (convenience store, Pay-easy, PayPay, carrier billing), no multi-currency, no saved cards or member registration, no subscriptions and no on-site card form.

Key features

GMO-PG Link Type Plus: a payment page is created for the order total in whole yen. The cards accepted are the ones in your GMO-PG contract.

Paid only when GMO-PG confirms: both the result notification and the customer's return are checked with a server-side request to GMO-PG. The order gets its status only when the transaction exists, and an amount that differs from the order puts it on hold. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Signed return: the result sent back with the customer is checked with SHA-256 and the Shop password of the payment's environment. Forged or foreign results are ignored.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous notifications never apply a payment twice. A new payment attempt cancels the previous unpaid payment links of the cart, and a second payment of the same cart is flagged with a note.

Capture now or authorize only: charge the card at once, or only authorize it and capture later with Capture payment (GMO-PG) in the order tab.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in whole yen in the VibeFox GMO Payment Gateway tab of the order, always in the environment the payment was made in.

Test and production: separate credentials for the GMO-PG test and production environments. A test notification never confirms a production payment.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on hold, a cancelled authorization and a full refund. Geo zone, minimum total and sort order as in any OpenCart payment method. Optional log with passwords and customer data masked.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A GMO Payment Gateway merchant contract with Link Type Plus (Shop ID, Shop password, Config ID) and the result notification turned on. Japanese Yen (JPY) as the checkout currency. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
