VibeFox EveryPay for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox EveryPay Payment adds EveryPay payments for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the EveryPay payment page, pays by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank link (whatever is enabled for your EveryPay account) and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after EveryPay confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores in the Baltics that have an EveryPay account. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds or capture from the store (use the EveryPay Merchant Portal), no saved cards or one-click payments, no subscriptions or recurring payments, no embedded card fields and no multi-currency: one processing account charges one currency.

Key features

EveryPay payment page: a one-off payment is created for the order total with the EveryPay Payments API v4, and the customer is redirected to the EveryPay payment link. The page language follows the customer's store language.

Paid only when EveryPay confirms: the order status is set only after the EveryPay API reports the payment as settled or authorised, on the callback, on the customer's return or on a manual status check. The return URL and the callback are never trusted by themselves.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch, or a payment for an order that was cancelled meanwhile, puts the order in a review status with a note.

No double processing: repeated callbacks or a return and a callback at the same moment never apply a payment twice. Before a new payment, earlier attempts of the same cart are checked, so a cart already paid is not charged again.

Test and live: separate credentials for the demo and live environments. A payment is always checked in the environment where it was created.

Order tab: all payment attempts of the order, the extension's notes and the action Check EveryPay payment status. Admin users need only the right to modify orders.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on review and a cancelled order.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Errors are always logged; API secrets and card data are never logged.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. An EveryPay account with API username, API secret and processing account name (demo and live have separate credentials). Order currency equal to the currency of the processing account. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
