VibeFox Eupago for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Eupago Gateway adds Eupago payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for stores that sell in euros. You choose one Eupago method for the store: Multibanco references paid at an ATM or in home banking, MB WAY payments approved in the customer's MB WAY app, or credit card payments on the Eupago card page. OpenCart creates the order at the last checkout step; the order is marked paid only when a verified Eupago notification arrives.

It suits stores in Portugal with an Eupago account. The extension offers one Eupago method per installation and takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from the store, no saved cards or subscriptions, no other Eupago methods, no Multibanco expiry date and no status polling.

Key features

Multibanco: the customer gets an entity, a reference and the amount on the order success page and in the order e-mail. The order waits in a status of your choice until the payment arrives.

MB WAY: the customer enters the MB WAY phone number at checkout and approves the request in the MB WAY app. Phone numbers are stored and logged only masked.

Credit card: the customer pays on the Eupago card page in Portuguese, Spanish or English. The order gets a status only after Eupago confirms the payment, and the cart is kept if the payment fails.

Paid only when Eupago confirms: encrypted and signed Webhook 2.0 notifications. The amount, currency, reference and sandbox or live mode are checked against the order.

Manual review instead of silent changes: a wrong amount, an unknown reference, a payment after cancellation or a second paid order of the same cart puts the order in a review status with a note.

Sandbox and live: separate API keys and webhook keys for each mode. A sandbox notification never pays a live payment.

Order tab: every payment attempt of the order with method, amount, reference or masked phone, Eupago transaction ID and status, plus the Eupago notes.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order, and your own order statuses for paid, awaiting, review, cancelled and failed payments.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The euro (EUR) enabled in the store. An Eupago account with the API key of your channel and a Webhook 2.0 key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
