VibeFox ePayco for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox ePayco Payment adds payments through the ePayco checkout to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, and the ePayco checkout opens as a popup over your store or as a redirect to the ePayco payment page. There the customer pays with the methods enabled on your ePayco account: cards, PSE bank transfers, cash networks or wallets. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after ePayco confirms the transaction, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores in Colombia that sell in Colombian pesos (COP) or US dollars (USD) and have an ePayco account. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from the store, no saved cards, subscriptions or split payments, and does not poll ePayco for pending transactions.

Key features

ePayco Checkout: a checkout session is created for the order total in the order currency, with taxes, the billing name, address, e-mail and phone. Popup or redirect, in Spanish or English following the customer's store language.

Paid only when ePayco confirms: the order status is set after a signed ePayco confirmation or after a server-side check of the transaction when the customer returns to the store. Confirmations without a valid signature are rejected.

Pending payments: PSE transfers and cash payments wait in a status of your choice and become paid when ePayco approves them. OpenCart e-mails the customer when the payment is approved or fails.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency approved by ePayco are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

No double processing: repeated confirmations and returns never apply a payment twice. A cart whose earlier order is already paid is not sent to ePayco again, and a second approved payment for a paid order is flagged for review.

Test mode: checkout sessions are created as test transactions. A test transaction never pays an order placed in live mode.

Order tab: the ePayco reference, state, payment method, approval code and the ePayco notes of the order. Reversals reported by ePayco set the status you choose.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. A log without keys or customer data; errors are always logged.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Order currency COP or USD. An ePayco account with its four keys (P_CUST_ID_CLIENTE, P_KEY, PUBLIC_KEY, PRIVATE_KEY). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
