VibeFox CCAvenue for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox CCAvenue Payment adds payments through CCAvenue (India) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the CCAvenue payment page and pays with any method enabled on your CCAvenue account: credit and debit cards, Net Banking, UPI, wallets or EMI. Then the customer comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after CCAvenue reports the result, so abandoned or failed payments stay missing orders.

It suits Indian stores with a CCAvenue merchant account that want a simple redirect to the CCAvenue page. The result is taken from the encrypted response CCAvenue sends with the customer's return; there are no server-to-server notifications. The extension has no refunds from OpenCart (refund in the CCAvenue dashboard), no saved cards, subscriptions or recurring payments, no on-site card form, and it does not support CCAvenue UAE or other regional platforms.

Key features

Encrypted request and response: the payment request is encrypted with your Working Key, and only a response that decrypts with this key is accepted. Unencrypted fields are ignored.

Bound to the payment attempt: the response must carry a CCAvenue order reference issued by your store and the secret token of that attempt, so a response for another order or store is rejected.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency confirmed by CCAvenue are compared to the paisa with what was sent and with the order total. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

No double processing: a repeated response never applies a payment twice. A second payment for a paid order only adds a note for you.

Safe handling of pending payments: an "Awaited" payment puts the order in an awaiting status instead of marking it failed while the money may still be captured.

Clear messages and retries: after a failed or cancelled payment the customer is back at checkout with a message, the cart is kept, and a new attempt gets a new CCAvenue order reference.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, an awaited payment, a payment on review, and a cancelled or failed awaited payment. OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order.

CCAvenue tab on the order page: the CCAvenue order ID, tracking ID, bank reference, payment mode and the amount sent and received. Optional log without keys, e-mails or addresses.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later with the OpenSSL extension. One download has the packages for both versions. A CCAvenue merchant account with a Merchant ID, Access Code and Working Key generated for the domain of your store. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
