VibeFox Cashfree for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Cashfree Payments adds payments through Cashfree Payments (India) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, the Cashfree hosted checkout opens, and the customer pays by card, UPI, net banking, wallet or any other method enabled in your Cashfree account, then comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Cashfree confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits Indian stores that want one payment method covering cards, UPI and net banking with a Cashfree account. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no saved cards, subscriptions or recurring payments, no separate authorize and capture, no Cashfree offers widget, payment links or COD through Cashfree, and no currency conversion.

Key features

Cashfree hosted checkout: a Cashfree order is created for the order total in the order currency, with the precision Cashfree expects for that currency, and the Cashfree checkout opens for the customer.

Paid only when Cashfree confirms: the order status is set after a webhook signed with your Secret Key or after a server-side check of the payment when the customer returns to the store. The return link alone never marks an order paid. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency must match the order exactly. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous webhooks and returns never apply a payment twice. A new attempt closes the open Cashfree payments of the same cart, and a payment already made at Cashfree but not recorded is confirmed instead of being charged again.

Sandbox and live modes: separate keys for each mode and a sandbox notice at checkout. Webhooks, payment checks and refunds always use the mode the payment was made in.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox Cashfree Payments tab of the order, up to the amount Cashfree actually charged. A full refund sets the Refunded status. Refund status updates from Cashfree are added to the notes.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on review and a full refund.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Order ID prefix for several stores on one Cashfree account. Optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A Cashfree account with an App ID and Secret Key for the sandbox and for live payments. HTTPS for webhooks. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
