Overview

VibeFox Cardcom Payment Gateway adds credit card payments through Cardcom (Israel) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the secure Cardcom payment page (Low Profile), enters the card details there and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Cardcom confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits Israeli stores that sell in ILS, USD, EUR or GBP and want card payments with installments from a Cardcom terminal. The extension takes one-time card payments only. It has no saved cards or one-click payments, subscriptions, charging of stored card tokens, Cardcom invoice settings, Bit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iframe mode or capture-later deals.

Key features

Cardcom payment page: a payment page is created for the order total in the order currency. The page opens in Hebrew or English, following the language of the order.

Paid only when Cardcom confirms: the extension does not trust the payment notification itself. It asks Cardcom server-to-server for the result, both when the notification arrives and when the customer returns to the store. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency confirmed by Cardcom are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

No double processing: repeated notifications and returns never apply a payment twice. A new attempt first checks the open Cardcom pages of the same customer, so a payment already made is confirmed instead of a second one.

Installments: set the maximum number of payments the customer may choose on the Cardcom page, from 1 to 36.

Test mode without an account: test mode uses the public Cardcom test terminal, so you can try the whole flow before you get your own terminal.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox Cardcom Payment Gateway tab of the order, in the amount Cardcom actually charged and always in the mode (test or live) the order was paid in. A full refund sets the Refunded status.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on review and a full refund. OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Optional log without credentials, card tokens or card-holder data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A Cardcom merchant account with a terminal number and API username (the API password is needed only for refunds). A store reachable from the internet over HTTPS. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
