VibeFox GoPay for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox GoPay Gateway adds GoPay payments to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses GoPay at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the GoPay payment page, pays with one of the methods enabled on your GoPay account, such as payment cards, bank transfers or wallets, and comes back to your store. The order is invoiced only after GoPay confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then. An unpaid or cancelled payment cancels the order and gives the cart back.

It suits stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Central Europe that sell in CZK, EUR, PLN, USD, GBP, HUF, RON or BGN and have a GoPay merchant account. The customer chooses the payment method on the GoPay page, not in your store. The module has no subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards, no embedded payment form, no capture or void of pre-authorizations from Magento and no payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Paid only when GoPay confirms: GoPay notifications are never trusted on their own. The module always reads the payment state, amount and currency from the GoPay API with your OAuth credentials, after a notification, the customer's return or a cron check every 5 minutes.

Amount and currency check: the payment must be one the module created for the order, and the amount, currency and order number must match it. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

Nothing to set up at GoPay: the notification URL is sent with every payment and shown on the settings page.

No double processing: repeated notifications and returns never invoice an order twice. Before a new attempt, the earlier GoPay payments of the same cart are checked, and a second paid attempt is marked for review.

Sandbox and production: separate GoID, Client ID and Client Secret for each mode. Each payment is checked and refunded in the mode it was made in.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, up to the amount GoPay actually charged. Refunds that GoPay only accepts are kept reserved and can be reconciled later without a second debit.

GoPay history on the order page: every payment attempt with its state, amounts and payment instrument, the refund history and a button to check the payment again.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted client secrets, the payment page language (automatic or one of 19), Processing or Complete after payment, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log with masked credentials and customer data.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A GoPay merchant account with GoID, Client ID and Client Secret (sandbox and/or production). Cart currency CZK, EUR, PLN, USD, GBP, HUF, RON or BGN. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
