VibeFox Eupago for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Eupago Gateway adds Eupago payments for Portugal to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. You choose one payment method for the checkout: Multibanco, MB WAY or credit card. The customer clicks Place Order and Magento places the order in Pending Payment. With Multibanco the customer gets an entity and a reference to pay at an ATM or in home banking. With MB WAY the customer approves a request in the MB WAY app. With credit card the customer pays on the Eupago card page and comes back to your store. The order is invoiced only after Eupago confirms the payment.

It suits stores that sell in euros and have an Eupago account. The module offers one Eupago method per installation and takes one-time payments only. It has no online refunds from Magento (refund in the Eupago backoffice, then a credit memo with Refund Offline), no saved cards, subscriptions or pre-authorisation, no other Eupago methods such as PayShop, Cofidis Pay or Bizum, no Multibanco expiry date, no status polling and no payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Multibanco, MB WAY or card: the Multibanco entity, reference and amount are shown on the order success page and in the order e-mail. The MB WAY phone number is asked at checkout, filled in with the billing phone, and Portuguese numbers can be entered without +351.

Paid only when Eupago confirms: an order is invoiced only after a verified Eupago notification: a signed Webhook 2.0 or the legacy callback authenticated by your API key. The customer's return from the card page never marks an order paid.

Strict checks: the amount (to the cent) and the currency must match the order, the payment reference must be one created for that cart, and the notification must come from the same environment (sandbox or live). Anything else puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

No double processing: repeated notifications are applied once, so an order is never invoiced twice and a cart cannot be paid by two orders. A late payment for a cancelled order is noted for your review instead of being lost.

Sandbox and live: separate API keys and webhook keys for each mode. Switching the mode switches the keys and the Eupago host.

Order status of your choice: Processing or Complete after the payment is confirmed.

Eupago requests on the order page: every payment attempt of the cart with method, mode, amount, reference or masked phone, status and Eupago transaction ID, plus private order notes.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, the webhook URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without keys, e-mails or full phone numbers.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. An Eupago account with the API key of your channel and a Webhook 2.0 key (sandbox and live are separate accounts). Orders in euros (EUR). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
