VibeFox Worldline for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Worldline Gateway adds payments through the Worldline Direct (formerly Ingenico Direct) hosted checkout to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Worldline at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the secure Worldline payment page, pays with a card, a wallet or another payment method enabled in your Worldline account and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after Worldline confirms the captured payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits stores that already have a Worldline Direct merchant account and want a hosted payment page without a card form on their own site. The module takes one-time payments as a direct sale. It has no saved cards, subscriptions, embedded card form, capture or cancel of authorizations from Magento, surcharging, automatic webhook registration or payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Worldline Direct hosted checkout: a payment page is created for the order total in the order currency, including zero-decimal currencies such as JPY and three-decimal currencies such as KWD. An optional page template from your Merchant Portal can be used.

Paid only when Worldline confirms: the invoice with the Worldline payment ID is created after a server-side status check when the customer returns, or after a webhook with a valid Worldline signature.

Amount and attempt check: the payment must belong to this order's payment attempt, and the amount and currency must match the order. Otherwise the order goes On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

No double processing: repeated returns and webhooks never invoice an order twice. A late payment never reopens a cancelled order, and a second payment of a paid order is flagged in the order notes. A cancelled or declined payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.

Separate test and live accounts: test mode uses the pre-production environment and the test credentials, live mode the production environment and the live credentials. The Test credentials and Live credentials buttons check each set.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, in the environment of the original payment and protected against double refunds. Refund status changes from Worldline are noted on the order.

Payment details on the order: the payment information of the admin order page shows every Worldline attempt and refund with its reference, payment ID, mode, status and amounts.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted secrets, the webhook URL on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and a log with keys and personal data masked.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A Worldline Direct merchant account (test and live) with a Merchant ID (PSPID), an API key and a webhook key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
