VibeFox DPO for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox DPO Pay Gateway adds DPO Pay to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses DPO Pay at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the secure DPO payment page and pays by card, mobile money or any other method enabled on your DPO account. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after DPO confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits stores with a DPO Pay merchant account that sell in a currency supported by DPO. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from Magento (refunds are made in the DPO merchant portal), no saved cards, subscriptions or card fields on your site, no capture of authorized-only payments, and no payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

DPO payment page: a DPO payment token is created for the order total in the order currency. The customer's name, e-mail, phone and billing address are passed to DPO to pre-fill the payment page.

Paid only when DPO confirms: the module asks DPO itself, server to server, for the result of every payment. The customer's return, the push notification and the scheduled checks only start this check. Then Magento creates the invoice with the DPO transaction token.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency are compared with the order to the cent. A difference, an authorized-only payment or an overpaid or underpaid transaction puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

No double charges: before a new payment attempt for the same cart, the previous DPO token is checked and cancelled at DPO if unpaid. Repeated notifications never invoice an order twice, and a second successful payment is flagged on the order.

Scheduled checks: the Magento cron checks unconfirmed payments 15 minutes after the redirect and again after the payment time limit, so a paid order is confirmed even if the customer closes the browser.

Test and live accounts: separate Company Token and Service Type for each. Every payment is always checked and cancelled with the account it was created with.

Order status of your choice: Processing, Complete or On Hold for manual review after a successful payment.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted Company Tokens, the push notification URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log with masked tokens.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4 with the cURL, JSON and SimpleXML extensions, and the Magento cron. A DPO Pay merchant account with a Company Token and a Service Type ID, and a store currency supported by your DPO account. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
